A recent client of our's Sign Solutions, came to us to develop an additional resource for their e-learning course created by us. Which lead to the creations of BSL Sign and Spell Alphabet App.
BSL Sign & Spell takes the user through each letter of the alphabet, with the help of two videos showing the front and side view of each sign. This makes learning easy, and a quick quiz after every few letters means the learner can check their progress. The app is a handy tool which lets learners of BSL revise their alphabet anywhere, at the touch of a button.
Sean Nicholson, co-founder and CEO of Sign Solutions, explains how the idea for BSL Sign & Spell came about: “I remember getting a finger-spelling card at Scouts and being fascinated by this new language. This app does exactly the same thing, but with the added convenience of having the finger-spelling played out on videos on our Smartphones, in our pockets!”
